After spending the past two years in second place, the three-strong Credit Suisse squad captained by Emerson Leite is back on top; he also leads the team ranked second in the Brazil sector.

Paula Kovarsky, who according to one impressed investor “really understand companies, both bottom-up and top-down,” shepherds the three-strong Itaú Securities team all the way from runner-up to second place; Kovarsky, who is headquartered in São Paulo, also co-leads the No. 3 team in Agribusiness.

In third place for a third straight year is the Santander duo steered by Christian Audi out of New York.

Alastair Syme, who was co-­captain of last year’s top-­ranked BofA team, returns to the winner’s circle — this time as sole leader of the four-­member crew at Nomura, which the 40-year-old analyst joined in April.
